Downtown Redevelopment, Wichita, KS

To be developed in two phases encompassing both sides of the river. Development on the right bank comprises the expansion of the existing Broadview hotel.  The addition of 369 rooms plus ancillary facilities will bring the total capacity of banquet halls, meeting spaces, special events and conference facilities to 84,400 SF. The building will also include new restaurants and bars, a state-of-the-art-spa and health club, and a public glass-enclosed atrium facing the river that will accommodate exhibits and special functions.  On the left bank of the river we are proposing a new, modern development including a 900 room hotel, 271,800 SF of retail space, a theatre, and a walkthrough aquarium and other attractions, intended to create a destination for visitors to Wichita. The complex will also offer a variety of eating experiences with bars and restaurants designed to highlight local cuisine as well as international favorites.

Regional Master Plan, Falmouth, Jamaica

Located at the midpoint between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, the development encompasses 10,000 acres in the surroundings of the historic village of Falmouth.  The master plan included sixteen distinct areas creating a powerful economic magnet not only for Jamaica but for the entire Caribbean region, with one-of-a-kind attractions, including a formula one racing track, world class sport training facilities, cinema studios, a museum and village experience in a former sugar plantation and factory.  The master plan also included 3 new beach front resorts with over 500 rooms, casinos, restaurants and convention facilities. Another aspect of the master plan was a broad redevelopment of the town including affordable housing, a regional hospital, and the transformation of the historic downtown into a quaint destination with small shops and bodegas drawing from the local architectural character and culture.

Fifth Avenue Classic, NYC

Classic 5,000 SF floor-through apartment renovated with a modern twist to highlight the contemporary art collection.  Shades of white are carried through the materials, such as decorative paint applied to plaster and wood paneled walls, high-gloss lacquered and glass built-ins, large marble and glass slabs in the bathrooms, or concrete countertops in the kitchen.  Museum quality lighting design and fully integrated control system for audio/visual, lighting, A/C and window treatment.

General renovation and upgrade of major Lower Manhattan Class A landmark building comprising 850,000 SF of office and retail spaces.  Renovation of historic lobbies and design of new reception areas, new elevator cabs featuring quarter-sliced Honduras mahogany panels, upgrade of all common areas including corridors, sanitary groups, stairs, services, signage, security and auxiliary spaces, etc.  Design for the subway entrance shared by the lower level lobby.  Pre-built for over 300,000 SF of commercial spaces.
